Be sure to list your bullet points and make them short and to the point. People love to scan and skim information online, and bullet points make your strongest points easier to read and be noticed. The reader can simply scan through the content and get to the point. So what is the benefit with SEO and bullet points? Your gain here is with your readers, and not necessarily with the search engines. When you create your content title, be sure to address both the search engine for SEO as well as the readers. Always write your title for each page in the H1 tag for that page. Your content for all of your pages must be optimized as well for the appropriate keywords or phrases that you want that page to rank for. Increasing your ranking takes time, but applying these simple tips will take you a long way. The H1 tag is vital to achieving the best ranking power you have. Also, try using the h2 tag for your subheadings. If you've ever noticed, there are sites that use captions to describe certain images on the page. They do not stand out a whole lot, but it's important to use them, anyway. There are SEO purposes and reasons for using them, and Google crawls these captions and interprets them. When you use captions, you're giving the search engines another element to look at. Never stuff anything with keywords, but you can intelligently use your main keyword phrase in them.
