 BookFest@Malaysia has been a long running event which groups writers, publishers and readers from all around the world to gather and sell, promote and exchange their latest creations. Bookfest Malaysia started off in Malaysia in the year 2006. The event saw to 320,000 visitors on it first opeing. Since then, it has been rising steadily each year. This year it will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre KLCC from 27 August to 4th September 2011
The Bookfest is anticipated to have more than 600 booths to allow hundreds of books, stationery retailers/distributors and publishers to be present and showcase their products. This event is co-organised with Sin Chew Media Corporation, and will be recognised as the largest book exhibition being held in the region.
